Salon Success was founded in 1979. During the next decade Salon Success launched an education system to enable hairdressers to run truly great businesses; they later became the sole UK distributor of Paul Mitchell® Luxury Hair Care. Today they market and distribute these professional products to selected hairdressers throughout Europe.

The business problem

Salon Success had acquired a new warehouse of 40,000 square foot which needed a total design and fit out. Salon Success’s previous warehouse fit out partner had gone out of business so they needed to find a new supplier.

The solution

In the search for a new racking supplier, Acorn distinguished themselves with their responsiveness and competitive pricing during the tendering stage. Acorn’s promptness and expert advice on warehousing solutions really impressed Salon Success. The first part of the project saw Acorn plan, design and build the warehouse layout and racking infrastructure . The project also included utility services, access and walkways with mezzanine floors and shelving systems. Acorn managed the project from start to finish in consultation with Salon Success.

Since the initial total warehouse fit out, Acorn has continued working with Salon Success to carry out their annual racking inspections, as well as completing their racking repairs – all of which are carried out by Acorn’s qualified and experienced experts.
